Jean Aubron Muscadet de Sèvre et Maine sur Lie

Since 1843, Jean Pascal Aubron’s family has been tending 11 hectares (about 27.19 acres) of vineyards around the town of Vallet, outside of Nantes, near the Atlantic Coast. Sitting on calcium-rich deposits, these vineyards allow the Melon de Bourgogne grape to achieve its full expression, resulting in a beautiful, almost ethereal Muscadet de Sèvre et Maine sur Lie.
The Grand Fief de l’Audigère is an enclosed vineyard, its wines recognized for their quality for centuries. Jean Aubron uses traditional vinification methods, cold fermentation and allows the wines to sit on their lees for between 6 and 10 months, depending on the vintage's requirements. This really lets the wine’s qualities show through, as we think you’ll agree.
Jean Aubron’s Grand Fief de l’Audigère Muscadet de Sèvre et Maine sur Lie is a lovely, flowery and briney wine, a true showcase of its terroir. Lemon, lime, white flowers and salty notes of the sea vie for your attention, with a rich yet minerally mouthfeel and striking acidity that balances everything on the palate.
